The new Bet Karma NBA Trends page is designed to show the line movement in team totals, the spread, and game totals. Each section features the opening number, live number, and difference between the two. The movement is taken from the DraftKings Sportsbook

In this article, I’ll break down the movement from one game with a corresponding player prop bet from our Prop Predictor. All of our player props can be found on the Live Odds page by clicking “view props” for each game.

New Orleans Pelicans vs Philadelphia 76ers

The Philadelphia 76ers opened as -8.5 home favorites against the New Orleans Pelicans. The line shifted 0.5 points toward New Orleans, as Philly is now a -8 point favorite. The game total opened at 229 points, decreasing to 226.5 thus far. The Pelicans team total dropped from 110.25 to 109.25, while the 76ers dipped from 118.75 to 117.25.

Philadelphia’s performed well against the spread (ATS) this season, covering in 55.6% of their games. New Orleans hasn’t been as successful, covering in only 47% of their contests. The Sixers have been dominant at home, posting a 19-12-1 ATS record. The Pelicans only own a 15-16 road ATS record this season.

These teams are opposites in terms of the total. New Orleans has hit the over in 60.6% of their games, while Philadelphia’s found the under in 53% of their contests. The Sixers do boast an 18-14 over/under record at home, though. The Pelicans enter this game with a 17-14 road over/under record this season.

Our props are currently being updated, but are likely to be live soon. Thank you for your patience!
