The new Bet Karma NBA Trends page is designed to show the line movement in team totals, the spread, and game totals. Each section features the opening number, live number, and difference between the two. The movement is taken from the DraftKings Sportsbook

In this article, I’ll break down the movement from one game with a corresponding player prop bet from our Prop Predictor. All of our player props can be found on the Live Odds page by clicking “view props” for each game.

Utah Jazz vs Golden State Warriors

The Utah Jazz opened as -2.5 point road favorites against the Golden State Warriors. The line shifted 0.5 points toward Golden State, as Utah is not a -2 point favorite. The game total opened at 228.5 points, dropping to 225.5 thus far. The Jazz team total decreased from 115.5 to 113.75, while the Warriors dipped from 113 to 111.75.

Utah’s performed well against the spread (ATS) this season, covering in 57.4% in their games. Golden State hasn’t been as successful, covering in only 48.5% of their contests this season. The Warriors have been significantly better at home, where they boast a 19-13 ATS record. The Jazz have struggled a bit on the road, posting a 16-17 ATS record thus far.

Both teams have found the under more often than not this season. Utah’s hit it in 52.2% of their games, while Golden State’s found it in 60.3% of theirs. The Warriors enter this game with a 14-18 home over/under record. The Jazz have been neural at home, recording a 16-16-1 over/under record in Utah this season.

This game features one prop that our Prop Predictor loves tonight. Kent Bazemore’s assist total is set at 1.5 tonight, but he boasts a Karma Projection of 2.1. The difference gives the over and A+ Karma Grade.

Bazemore’s averaging 1.6 assists in only 19.1 minutes per game through 63 contests this season. He’s also averaging only 1.8 assists in 29.3 minutes per game over the last 10 days. Overall, he’s posted 2+ assists in 6 of his last 10 games, generally struggling in limited minutes.

Bazemore’s expected to play roughly 30 minutes tonight. He doesn’t boast an elite usage rating, but he should continue to find easy assists with scorers like Stephen Curry on the court. Although he does come with some risk, it’s easy to see why our Prop Predictor loves this over.
