UFC 262 Bets

Michael Chandler +120

It seems that I am wrong on Oliveira than any other fighter on the UFC roster from fight to fight but on Saturday I feel that Chandler has a perfect toolset to deal with him. Chandler has the wrestling to keep this fight standing and the pressure to throw Oliveira off of his striking game. I look for Chandler to push the pace and eventually hurt Oliveira to end the night early. Chandler by KO/TKO is +225 right now, I don’t mind that line but I thought it would be a better price.

Tony Ferguson +149

A lot of people have given up on Ferguson based on his last 2 fights but he gets a huge downgrade in opponents in this fight. I think Dariush is a perfect matchup for Ferguson because Dariush is not very skilled on the feet. On the ground, this fight is a wash in my opinion, so it comes down to how this plays out on the feet and I still think Ferguson has the edge at this point in his career.

Jacare Souza -115

Muniz is somewhat a test if Jacare is a UFC level fighter at this point in his career or not. Muniz typically wins fights by pressuring takedowns and trying to lock in submissions. Versus Souza that is an issue because Souza is one of the best all-time on the ground. I am slightly concerned about Souza’s chin but this is a very winnable fight for him at a value price.

Mike Grundy -122

I was a little surprised that this fight is so close in odds, Grundy is a good wrestler and has decent pressure in his stand-up. Vannatta has cardio issues and has about 1 round of danger in his striking. If Grundy can weather the storm in round 1, it should be smooth sailing.

Jamie Pickett -102

Wright comes into this fight with an impressive record but one this I noticed is that he seems afraid to get hit. Pickett is a long fighter that will stand and trade with him so in order for Wright to execute his game plan he will get hit often. This pick comes down to who I think can take the most damage and that is hands down Pickett for me.

Kevin Aguilar +103

Aguilar has had a tough run so far in the UFC but he gets a fight versus Lutz on Saturday that plays perfectly into his gameplay. Lutz is a decent prospect, he has decent wrestling and his standup is decent ok but he lacks defensive prowess. Aguilar will likely lure him into brawls and shouldn’t have an issue hitting him frequently.

Pickett/Wright Does not go to decision -205

Mazany by decision +110

Leans-

Bontorin +140 (by decision +450)

Chookagian -127

Shevchenko -117
