The Bet Karma MLB Trends page is designed to show the line movement in team totals, the moneyline, and game totals. Each section features the opening number, live number, and difference between the two. The movement is taken from the DraftKings Sportsbook.
In this article, I’ll break down the line movement from one game with a corresponding player prop bet from our Prop Predictor. All of our player props can be found on the Live Odds page by clicking “view props” for each game.
The Atlanta Braves opened as -150 road favorites against the New York Mets. There hasn’t been any line movement in this game thus far. Furthermore, the game total opened at 6.5 runs and hasn’t moved yet. The Braves boast a team total of 3.9 runs, while the Mets own a team total of 2.9 runs.
Both of these teams have struggled with the run line in 2021. New York’s covered it in 45.5% of their games, while Atlanta’s covered it in only 38.8% of theirs. The Mets have also struggled at home, posting a 9-10 home run line record. The Braves have found surprising success on the road, recording a 12-10 road run line record this season.
These teams are opposites in terms of the game total. Atlanta’s found the over in 55.3% of their games, while New York’s hit the under in 57.5% of their contests this season. At home, the Mets boast a league-best 4-13-1 over/under record. The Braves enter this game with a 9-13 road over/under record.
Our Props are currently being worked on and should be posted shortly.
