What is up Karma Nation! Welcome back to another edition of my MLB Pitching Props Article. Last week we were able to hit by attacking Tanner Houck over 4.5 Ks for -160 against the Twins. As always, I start my research out by checking the FREE Projections Portal on DFSkarma.com. This is one of the best FREE tools on the market to help with not only DFS but player props as well. For tonight’s prop, we will be traveling to Toronto, as the Blue Jays take on the Athletics at home. This will be a battle between Alek Manoah and Sean Manaea.

One important tool at betkarma.com is the props comparison tool. This tool helps you find the best value for each player for your props. Why play this at -118 on Fanduel sportsbook when you can play it for +110 at BetMGM? Getting value for your bets is extremely important for long-term profit. It is not about will they or won’t go over. It is about the percentage chance of going over or under.

Place this bet on any of the sportsbooks mentioned above by clicking on their link and get up to a $1,000 sign-up bonus. Lines may vary based on the time you are reading this or if you are using a different sportsbook. Check out where to bet to find other sportsbooks in your state. Let's dive in.

The 23-year-old rookie out of the University of West Virginia has pitched amazingly since entering the league. He has 14 starts so far this season, pitching for at least five innings in all but four of those starts. Of those starts, three out of four of those sub-five innings pitched came during his first eight starts. Normally if he does reach that five-inning mark, he is throwing for more than 90 pitches. So, you can expect him to stay out there as long as he is pitching well. He has pitched for over 5.5 Ks in exactly 50% of his starts this season. As well as, three of his last four starts. Manoah has a 26.8% K% on the season while doing much better against lefties compared to righties. He has a 30.6% K% against lefties and a 23% K% against righties.

The Athletics aren’t an extremely easy matchup, but I am trying to take advantage of the + money value that we receive with this bet. Like I mentioned earlier, it isn’t always about the likely event but the value of the prop. This lineup features three lefties and six righties. The lefties have a combined 18.4% K% against righties. While the righties have a 20.6% K% against righties as well. Even though the righties have the higher combined K% the lefties are where Manoah has found his success. So, it will be imperative for Manoah to strike out these lefties to reach his over tonight. Another place where Manoah needs to find success is his slider. The Athletics have a difficult time making contact with sliders and this is a pitch Manoah likes to throw. He is not really a fastball pitcher, 35% of his pitches against righties is a slider and 20% of his pitches to lefties are sliders. There is not a batter in the Athletics lineup that has over a 75% contact % against sliders, while most fall close to a 60% contact %.
