Hunter Renfrow o4.5 REC +125 

 

One thing we know about the Miami Dolphins is they have a very good secondary. Xavien Howard and Byron Jones are one of the best cornerback tandems in the NFL and that should definitely cause problems for the Raiders. One of the things we’ve noticed so far this year is Derek Carr‘s newfound desire to more consistently throw the ball down the field. Because of that, we’ve seen an emergence of Darren Waller and Hunter Renfrow as his safety blankets when those deep targets don’t pan out.

 

With Miami’s ability to cover outside receivers very well I think we should see a pretty noticeable uptick in production from Hunter Renfrow. Through two games so far this season he’s been targeted seven and nine times, a career start to his season, and there’s no indication that he’s going to turn this around. I think we’re getting a great number along with a good matchup for the specific prop. Miami is normally not a team I like to target but their weakness in the slot is not something we should be overlooked. I expect our favorite accountant to have around six catches on Sunday. 

 

Jalen Hurts o300.5 Passing/Rushing Yards -115 

 

He’s hit this number in 3/5 games he’s started in his career including 1/2 so far this year. He came out the gates hot, crushing this number in week one but failed to eclipse it last week against a tough 49ers defense. The Cowboys and 49ers are polar opposites in terms of defensive capabilities and I don’t expect a similar game script this week. 

 

In the two games so far the Cowboys have played this season, they have allowed both starting quarterbacks to hit this number just in the air. Hurts has one of the biggest rushing upsides in the league but could very easily cover this number simply throwing the ball. Dallas has plenty of weaknesses across the field and I expect the young quarterback to take advantage of it. Lots of people aren’t giving him the credit he deserves due to last weeks tough matchup, this is literally the perfect bounce-back spot
