With the NFL season on the horizon, it is time that we dive into one of our favorite pastimes. We are officially in Team Win Total Season! Today we dive into the NFC North as we give you the winners!

A quick reminder for our readers: these odds are on DraftKings Sportsbook. The lines from DraftKings may vary depending on when you read these articles.

NFC NORTH:

Green Bay Packers- 11 Wins: STAY AWAY

The Green Bay Packers have dominated the NFC North lately, but the winds of change could be in the offering in 2022. Aaron Rodgers in a post-Davante Adams world will be a fascinating watch.

The Packers have an awful lot to offer--one of the better defenses in the league and a top-notch 1-2 punch in the backfield of Aaron Jones and AJ Dillon.

The pass-catchers don't offer much confidence, and 11 wins is a tough pill to swallow for a team seemingly in transition on offense.

I am offering caution on this one to STAY AWAY, but my colleague David Costabile takes it one step further and suggests landing on the UNDER. I highly recommend his Deep Dive into the Packers in his "Is This FINALLY the year Rodgers gets old?" article that you can find HERE.

Minnesota Vikings- 9 Wins: OVER -120

The Minnesota Vikings are my favorite bet in the NFC North, and it is not particularly close. The Vikings look like a team about to take a step forward and challenge the NFC North title.

I have much more confidence in the Kevin O' Connell-led offense in 2022 than anything we saw under the Mike Zimmer tenure. With playmakers Dalvin Cook, Justin Jefferson, and Adam Thielen, the Vikings can torture a defense.

The Minnesota Vikings will be a double-digit win team in 2022. Take the OVER.

Chicago Bears- 6.5 Wins: UNDER -155

Give me one good reason why we should take the over on the Chicago Bears--I'll wait.

The Bears dealt Khalil Mack in the off-season. Currently, Roquan Smith is asking for a trade, feeling disrespected by the franchise. The disappointing defense will take a step back in 2022.

There is not much more optimism on the offensive side of the ball. Outside of Darnell Mooney, there is not much to hang your hat on at the receiver position. The Bears may have the worst offense in the NFL.

The Bears are doing nothing to support second-year QB Justin Fields--throwing him to the wolves. I will take the UNDER.

Detroit Lions- 6.5 Wins: UNDER +100

My colleagues and I disagree on the Detroit Lions in 2022, so expect a fascinating debate to ensue.

The Detroit Lions are heading in the right direction. Adding Aidan Hutchinson up-front can transform a defensive line that needed some juice. Jeffrey Okudah returning to the secondary will help as well.

The Lions are transitioning from an offense that was a laughing stock to a formidable unit. The Lions prioritized adding some playmakers in the off-season as they added DJ Chark and traded up in the 2022 NFL Draft for speedster Jameson Williams. While Jameson Williams will pay dividends long-term, he won't be ready early in the 2022 season, so keep expectations in check.

That would be my advice regarding the Detroit Lions: keep expectations in check. The Lions were a three-win team in 2021. They could double their win total in 2022 and won't clear the over. For that reason, I will remain steadfast and recommend the UNDER.
