2022 NFL Futures | NFC West Win Totals

With the NFL season on the horizon, it is time that we dive into one of our favorite pastimes. We are officially in Team Win Total Season! Today we dive into the NFC West as we give you the winners!

NFC WEST:

Los Angeles Rams- 10.5 Wins: OVER -105

My initial gut reaction pre-research was to suggest a slide for the Los Angeles Rams in 2022. The Rams ran hot in 2021 and wound up the Super Bowl Champions. 

The problem is, the Rams might be EVEN BETTER in 2022. I consider Allen Robinson an upgrade over Robert Woods. They still could bring back Odell Beckham Jr. Having a healthy Cam Akers provides more balance for a team that prides itself on running the ball. Matthew Stafford's second year in the offense will provide more familiarity. 

The Rams won 12 games a year ago, so I have no choice but to take the OVER on this one.

Arizona Cardinals- 8.5 Wins: STAY AWAY

I was stunned when I first saw the line here. The Arizona Cardinals won 11 games a year ago. Vegas is BEGGING you to take the over on this one. Here is why I preach caution: the Cardinals just might not be any good.

The Cardinals appear to be a defense to target. The Cardinals offense will certainly miss DeAndre Hopkins during his six-game suspension to begin the 2022 season. They are one James Conner injury away from having a suspect running game, and we all know Conner's injury history.

The Cardinals' franchise places way too much on Kyler Murray's shoulders. This one will be razor sharp on 8.5, so do yourself a favor and STAY AWAY.

San Francisco 49ers- 10 Wins: UNDER -120

Don't overcomplicate this one. The 49ers are a team clearly in transition. The 49ers are moving from a Jimmy Garoppolo-led offense to Trey Lance under center. You could not find two quarterbacks who are more different stylistically.

Trey Lance offers substantially more upside than Jimmy Garoppolo ever has, and we will see glimpses of that throughout 2022. My concern for the 49ers and Trey Lance, I also expect to see some growing pains in his first season under center.

I don't see how the 49ers can eclipse ten wins as they break in a new QB. Take the UNDER on this one.

Seattle Seahawks- 5.5 Wins: UNDER +120

Geno Smith. Drew Lock. Do we need to say more?

In our AFC West Win Totals article that you can find HERE, we mentioned how Russell Wilson makes all the difference for the Denver Broncos. Conversely, his absence will dramatically affect the Seattle Seahawks in 2022.

I can't wrap my head around how the Seattle Seahawks will win games in 2022. The Seahawk's coaching staff and front office quickly realize Russell Wilson bailed them out many times, and this year they hit rock bottom. Take the UNDER.
