<h1>Week 16 Recap</h1>

Week 16 was another positive week with the Game of the Week hitting with Steelers straight up on a huge comeback. It&rsquo;s that kind of volatility coupled with being on the right side, that if you play it out regardless of what is happening in the game, especially once Pitt cut the deficit to under two scores, you could have made 10+ units on a single game without risking more than 3 units.

Spreads went 3-1 with the lone miss being the Eagles losing to Cowboys. Not to worry, that Eagles loss single handedly cost me thousands of dollars, and I had it legged into teasers/parlays and contests. This is why live betting and hedging are always paramount for a final leg of any bet. Had I been available to hedge, I could have gotten Cowboys at an amazing price live, and at least broke even on all my Eagles related bets. This&nbsp;included&nbsp;a +700 bet to win the division. This is the biggest loss of the year, not because I was on the wrong side, but because I did not play my advantageous position.

Totals are again on a winning streak, going 2-1 with the two wins being the Bears and Bengals overs and the lone dud being a half point miss on the Packers over.

Exotics went 2-2 and Live Plays were pushes. The Bucs you never had a chance to take unless got them pre-game and though I was on Seattle to win, Rams never cut that final deficit to get a middle.

<h1>Featured Spread&nbsp;Play</h1>

Cardinals @ Rams

The Rams new starting QB is a former 4-year starter who utilized the RPO system. He&rsquo;s no Lamar Jackson, but he adds a dynamic to the Rams offense no one will have seen. That in itself should be enough for McVay to scheme up the 17-20 points they need to cover or win outright. Also, Kyler Murray is banged up enough to be questionable to even play, and as we&rsquo;ve seen so far this year, a banged up run-centric QB like Murray needs to be able to run to help his team move the ball down the field. This gives the Rams two potential advantage points, that if the other is incorrect could still compensate for a cover.

<h1>Featured Total Play</h1>

Seattle @ San Francisco

The Seahawks offense has turned on its head, and 49ers are playing to get to the off-season without their best WR&rsquo;s. A division game, this should be a conservative, run-centric slug fest. At worst, Seattle gets up big early and coasts, but I have a hard time seeing 49ers getting over 20 points as is. If Seattle gets to 30, an over is possible, but if not it should stay under.

<h1>Featured Exotic Play</h1>

Cowboys @ Giants

I honestly think both sides might be worth teasing. This is a must win for a shot to win the division, and Cowboys do not have the defense to stop even a bad offense for long. Giants do have the defense to keep their team in the game however. I could see either team winning, but Cowboys are the hotter hand right now, and with Danny Dimes&rsquo; struggles and lingering-leg injury, I think this is probably safer to tease in Cowboy&rsquo;s favor.

<h1>Featured Live Play</h1>

Dolphins @ Bills

Because this is week 17, there are a lot of unknowns across the board. This game in particular is a must win for Dolphins and a maybe play to win game for the Bills. While live, if can get a read on the Bills game plan, then the Dolphins might be beatable straight up, even with an early lead. If Bills bench Josh Allen at any point, buy Dolphins to win.

<h1>Game of the Week</h1>

Minnesota @ Detroit

Looks like Stafford is going to play, and if that is the case I like the Lions to rebound and score in droves here, and the Vikings to start throwing their way into the game with Thielen and Jefferson. Both these defenses are bad, and so look for a lot of points in a shootout.

<h1>Week 15&nbsp;Recap</h1>

Week 15&nbsp;was another great week for the Blitz Report. Spreads was the only one that underperformed at 1-3, but we hit our Game of the Week with Philly and Arizona volatility and the over, and live betting KC/Saints would have been very profitable as well.&nbsp;

Eagles @ Cowboys

With Hurts&nbsp;ability to run and Miles Sanders, I expect this game to be a lot like the Washington at Dallas game a few weeks ago. It may be close early, but I expect Eagles to score in droves and pull away late.

<h1>Featured Total Play</h1>

Bears @ Jaguars

Bears are playing the worst defense of their last 4&nbsp;games, and so another 30 spot is likely. And so if Jaguars can muster 17 points, this should cover with ease.

<h1>Featured Exotic Play</h1>

Panthers @ Washington

Washington is just not a very good offense, so teasing Panthers and the Under together at -120 is my favorite exotic of the week.&nbsp;

<h1>Featured Live Play</h1>

Rams @ Seattle

There is no point in placing a pre-game bet on this game. Seattle is improved as of late on defense and Rams are struggling on offense. This should come down to a final possession, so if can get +7 on either side, that is a must take, with a lean on Seattle to win outright.

<h1>Game of the Week</h1>

Colts @ Steelers

Steeleers, for all their troubles the last three weeks finally got some footing in the second half vs. the Bengals. If they can carry that into this game, I expect a much better 4 quarters than what we&#39;ve seen lately.

<h1>Week 14 Recap</h1>

Week 14 was a great week for the Blitz Report. Spreads went 3-2 with the Ravens, Seahawks and Eagles cashing, Eagles I even recommended as +300 + dogs, &ldquo;if the Eagles defense plays like it did two weeks ago against the Seahawks, Eagles should be within range to cover, and I think even win.&rdquo; Raiders and Packers were the two misses, as Raiders was too square-sharp of a pick, and Packers I even admitted a late back door cover by Stafford was the way we lose, exactly as it happened.

Live Bets went 1-0-1 as I am grading Texans live play a push for this reason &ndash; if you follow me on Twitter, I was pounding the table to take Bears, as I had late Saturday early Sunday clarity, which is why I tend to like to secure most bets until later in the week. In fact, I even gave out Bears -3.5 Alt line parlay with Eagles +3.5 and Ravens ML. a +900 winner. So the Blitz Report may have cost you a -110 bet on Texans spread when down, but if actually following our trades in discord, you would have made that up by at least 3 times. I also recommended getting Chargers or Falcons down 7, and that would have hit with ease as neither side was worth playing out front.

Exotics went 3-1 with the lone loser being to tease the Jags to cover the Titans. The three hits were Tampa Bay, KC and the under in the Washington game.

Totals finally performed perfectly again going in easy 2-0 with the Giants under and the Panthers over.

Game of the Week ended up as a push, as the game script was right on the hedge, but not on the lead out. Steelers was the wrong side, but should have escaped with a push if tailed.

Haskins is starting, and Seattle just had their dud game 2 weeks ago vs the Giants. Washington did not score an offensive TD vs 49ers, so if getting under 7, have to take Seattle. I wouldn&rsquo;t be surprised if Seattle wins by 30 here. And even if close, it probably mirrors that Eagles/Seahawks game, minus the hail mary TD cover.

San Francisco @ Dallas

I have this score being over 21-24, and so anything over 45 is a must take all the way up to 48. Cowboys Defense still stinks, and once 49ers get a 10+ point lead, I expect Cowboys to take more shots down field, as Andy Dalton is capable of doing.

Browns @ Giants

Giants are banged up at DB, QB, TE now and Browns might be getting some defenders back. This is a huge mismatch, especially with what has been a hobbled Danny Dimes. If Browns play mistake free, they will win going away, but just to be safe Browns at even is a great bet.

Kansas City @ New Orleans

Both these teams are going to score, and we may see some serious volatility. I think either team that goes down 10+ points is a side to take on the comeback and hedge the other way for a nice middle opportunity. I lean a Saints outright victory even without Michael Thomas.

Lions @ Titans

Stafford&rsquo;s status is concerning, so no point in getting cute either way.

<h1>Game of the Week</h1>

Eagles @ Cardinals

Maybe Eagles get blown out here, but I am a believer in Jalen Hurts the rest of this season. Cardinals are going to get their points with 3 starting DB&rsquo;s out for Eagles, but I think Hurts and their running game can keep it within striking distance or on the comeback catch a cover if go down. I also think an Eagles win is live here and if follow in the discord I played Eagles +680 to win the division, and with a loss here I still think that is live to hit. Getting Eagles Spread live, an inflated money line, and look to middle with Cards if Cards go down is the way to go.

Season total is 81-57-17, and a reminder the 17 pushes are defined by -- if weren&rsquo;t right on the number, the cap was half right up front, like in a live play that didn&rsquo;t pan out on the hedge, so should break even if tailed.

<h1>Week 13 Recap</h1>

Week 13 was one of my best capped weeks of the season, yet our allocations only picked up a few percent. I bring this up to remind you that there are different skillsets at work when betting. One &ndash; my greatest strength, just capping situations/games/narratives and alternative game flows. And two &ndash; bet allocation, as in how much x do you put on y and how many plays of z do you make? The latter I work with partners to maximize my efficiency, which is why the Blitz Report is more of a capper&rsquo;s guide than an allocation recommendation. Now, back to week 13 &ndash; Spreads went an impressive 3-1 with the lone loss being on the Steelers who just couldn&rsquo;t find a consistent offense in the second half vs a tougher than people think Washington Football Team. The three that hit were Denver +14, New England by a mile and J.E.T.S. who should&nbsp;have gotten their first win of the season, like I suggested they would. The good thing if betting live, you could have mopped up taking Jets money line and hedging to lock in profits both ways with Raiders when they were down.

Totals finally did not have a loss, as the under in the Giants game was spot on and Over 51 for Minnesota gave us a push.

Exotics had 2 wins and 2 pushes, with the Colts and Atlanta teases working exactly as needed, considering the Colts were 10 yards away from not covering late vs Watson&rsquo;s Texans. The tease on Chicago saved us with a push on their collapse, and teasing both Bills and 49ers lefts us with only one side hitting.

Live Bets, dominating all year, and providing the most +EV outside of the Game of the Week, cashed with Cleveland dominating and Titans storming back to cover all the numbers they were down by after the first quarter. The Rams game I leaned Rams and recommended leading out on them to then try to middle with a Cardinals comeback. That I graded as a push since Cards lost by more than 1 score.

Game of the Week is still in the green on the season, but I got admittedly cute trying to call bottom on the Eagles with a Rick Ankiel like Carson Wentz. Eagles almost covered at least, once Wentz got relieved, but it just wasn&rsquo;t the right side anyhow.

<h1>Featured Spread Play</h1>

Saints @ Eagles

Saints is the consensus play this week in Circa Million. Why? I have no idea. Hurts, even in the short-term is an upgrade over I got the yipps Wentz. Hurts is elusive and confident, two things Wentz had none of. The Eagles defense has played fairly solid all-season, and as they&rsquo;ve gotten healthier, they played well vs Russel Wilson and decent vs the Packers until that bad luck late long run TD by Aaron Jones. The only caveat here for Eagles, is the team is fairly upset that Wentz got benched, and I think it is because they really like him and know he is capable, more capable than a new rookie. I think it has less to do with anything related to Jalen Hurts. But, that is a blessing in disguise, because the assumption is the team will play worse, when I think the shakeup in and of itself will outweigh any personal grudges for the QB switch. And on the other side, Taysom Hill has played decent, but he&rsquo;s not a world beater. So, if the Eagles defense plays like it did two weeks ago against the Seahawks, Eagles should be within range to cover, and I think even win. Remember, at least we know Taysom Hill is not Russel Wilson or Aaron Rodgers. So, even if a Darius Slay struggles with their #1 WR again, it won&rsquo;t be MVP caliber QB&rsquo;s throwing it.

<h1>Featured Total Play</h1>

Arizona @ New York Giants

We hit the under on Giants last week, so let&rsquo;s run it back here. Daniel Jones is still playing with a bad hamstring, so if he cannot run, that mitigates a dynamic of the Giants&rsquo; offense that is pivotal to their success. And with their excellent and still underrated defense, and a hobbled Kyler Murray, I don&rsquo;t see how either team goes much past 20 points in the game without a fluky situation or score.

<h1>Featured Exotic Play</h1>

KC @ Miami

Tease Chiefs to a pick &lsquo;em, as I just don&rsquo;t see a likely Tua led Miami offense doing a whole lot against the Chiefs with their injuries and covid issued. If Fitzpatrick plays, they should have more of a chance, but I think this spot is a get right spot for the Chiefs who have played down to competition most of the year.

<h1>Featured Live Play</h1>

Atlanta @ Chargers

Both of these teams tend to allow late comebacks, a perfect game script to bet live. I&rsquo;ve also bounced between leaning both teams, which suggests to me there is not much edge to be had and that the game is most likely going to be close late. If either team goes down by more than 2 scores, then grab the other side if all the same players are playing hat started the game. Both offenses should also have success, so no matter who gets down, the other team should find their way back into this game.

Cowboys @ Bengals

Gross.

<h1>Game of the Week</h1>

Steelers @ Bills

Everyone is super high the Bills it seems and super low on the Steelers, as if the Steelers defense cannot wreak havoc on the third most turnover-type-play QB in the NFL, barely behind Drew Lock in Josh Allen, or that the Steelers can&rsquo;t find success with their weapons now that Pouncey and even James Connor look to be back. Both these teams are bettable, capable and volatile, and that provides a perfect swing for a game like this. I could see this game going similarly to the Rams v Bills game, where the Bills jumped out on fire, but the second half had the Rams storm back and take the lead after being down 3+ scores. Only to see Josh Allen avoid sack after sack, get a fluke bail out by the refs, and cap a game winning drive. To say, play the volatility in this one, especially leaning getting Steelers points and the Over.

<h1>Week 12 Recap</h1>

Week 12

Spreads went 2-2, and let me caveat, that Eagles -6 was over 6 for more than 24-hours prior to game time, so fairly confident likely grabbed over the 6 and cashed on the lucky hail mary. The two outright loser was a Giants fluke miss, as Giants dominated the game, but one drive, KR TD and Danny Dimes injury had this game whiff. Chargers also cost us with inept coaching once again, another fluke lose, but the 49ers was easy from start to finish at a ridiculous +6.5.

Totals bombed again! If tailing, maybe lay off the total recs until we get some life back there. Went 0-2 last week going in opposite directions of under on explosive offenses vs poor defenses and vver on poor offenses vs capable defenses. Fundamentally, that is just a glaring mistake.

Exotics kept pace with the rest of the year by going 2-1, hitting a double tease with Arizona and Patriots either way, and teasing Bucs for safety. The loss came with Chicago&rsquo;s inability to play defense for the first time all season.

The good news is, Live Bets went 1-0-1, the push being Titans/Colts told to take both sides when Titans manhandled the game due to Colts injuries/Covid issues. The monster hit was Panthers and Vikings, as Vikings led out and could of got an amazing price on Panthers, only for the Panthers to score 2 fluke defensive TD&rsquo;s before Vikings stormed back and won! That&rsquo;s the type of live bet volatility that if tail can make monster gains if allocate right. ML Panthers after going down at +270, then Vikings +320, and/or take spreads either way, and stacking wins in a major way.

Game of the Week was half right, with the first part being to take the Falcons then the spread and total over. The part that missed was going the other way with it and looking to middle. So, we grade that a push!

Raiders @ Jets

Look, I get it. You hate betting the Jets. I do too. But, the Raiders are without their best offensive player, Josh Jacobs, and their best defensive player Abrams. Darnold always struggles in his first games back after being away, so he should play better now that has his feet under him against a defense that is actually worse than the Jets, if you can believe it. If Darnold can lead his team to just 2 TD&rsquo;s, I think Jets cover this game with ease, and in fact, I&rsquo;m calling for Jets to get their first win of the season here. Last year these teams played in a similar spot, Raiders were -6 or so on the road, and Jets spanked the Raiders. I doubt Raiders lay another egg here, but if Darnold is even moderately sharp here, Jets should be in position to win this game outright.

<h1>Feayured Total Play</h1>

Jaguars @ Vikings

Why make this total any more difficult than it needs to be? Vikings are going to score over 30 points, so Jags need to get to about 20 to cover this total. 31-20 gets the cover, and I think a 38-17 score is even more likely. I lean total instead of Vikings spread, because if the handicap is wrong, I think it likely gets over the total anyhow, whereas, if the spread cap is wrong, no chance of covering 10 points.

<h1>Featured Exotic Play</h1>

Saints @ Falcons

I think Falcons win straight up, but to give a little more padding vs the better division team, getting this line to +10 seems as gravy train as it gets. Falcons should have both star WR&rsquo;s back, and Falcons D has been massively improved since Quinn&rsquo;s firing. As long as Falcons can keep Ryan upright, they should be in this game and able to pull the upset.

<h1>Featured Live Play</h1>

Rams @ Cardinals

Browns and Titans is the other option to Live Play this week, but Rams and Cardinals I am more confident about as far as being a close game or Rams pull away. Rams should have a better offensive showing here than they did last week, remember, on a short week playing 49ers after beating the Bucs on the east coast. Murray also doesn&rsquo;t look right, and with Ramsay limiting Hopkins, Rams should be able to do enough to win straight up. If can get Cards more than 7 points the other way would look to get a Rams ML and Cards Spread middle.

<h1>Off Play</h1>

Bengals @ Dolphins

Since it looks like Fitzmagic is playing, definitely Dolphins or off. But, just too many points for my liking.

<h1>Game of the Week</h1>

Eagles @ Green Bay

This is my first Game of the Week taking a BIG underdog as the primary position. Eagles were up to +9.5 last time I checked, which is abusrd. I get the Wentz suck narrative, and right now, he does, but the Eagles D is legit and I could see the game plan being similar to last year&rsquo;s where the Eagles ran for 160+ yards and so Wentz only had to throw it in the red zone more or less. Eagles won that game in Green Bay as well. So? Let&rsquo;s lead out with Eagles ML and Spread, though be modest, as I think it is likely Packers jump out to a lead in the first half. Can add a bit more from there, and then if Eagles swing it and get the lead can hedge on packers to try and middle.

<h1>WEEK 11 RECAP</h1>

Week 11 ended up proving to be another positive week, going 7-5 overall, which is misleading because the two +EV plays, Live Bet and Game of the Week BOTH cashed. Game of the Week was Colts and Packers, leaning Colts, and with how huge Colts got down in the first half and the volatility into OT, you should have made as much money as you could tolerate risk on. Live Bet had a lean on Cowboys, prefaced with if Cowboys would come out stable on defense and capable on offense, and based on game script, would have had all game to grab Cowboys +money and +spread.

Spreads went 2-2, with the Bucs being the first miss fire on a Bucs game all season, ending my 10-0 streak. Philadelphia&rsquo;s Wentz dumpster fire was also a big whiff, but we can call it even with a super sharp pick in Carolina and the Jets.

Totals FINALLY got off the trash heap and got a win with the almost too easy to predict under on Broncos v Miami, but we did whiff on Ravens Under and Saints Over.

Exotics went 2-1, and because we teased Chiefs down, that play hit. Patriots was the wrong side, and Skins might have needed that tease in the end if Burrow was not knocked out of the game.

That brings the Blitz Report to 69-50-11 on the season, and most importantly Game of the Week to 4-2-5.

Chargers @ Bills

Chargers are getting some help back on defense and Bills are seeing key injuries left and right. Chargers may also have some Austin Ekkler in this game, and so if the Bills continue to play defense as they have all season, Chargers should put up a lot of points and this game could come down to the final drive - a Chargers special.

FEATURED TOTAL PLAY

Dolphins @ Jets

Darnold is back, his weapons are healthy, and the Dolphins offense welcomes back in Fitzmagic. If Darnold can play as we know he can and has in the past, Jets come into this game able to score with the Dolphins. If Tua was the QB, I&#39;d prefer an under 44.5, but because Fitzmagic is in, who is more turnover prone and big play likely, I think Dolphins find close to 27 points and Jets over 20.

FEATURED EXOTIC PLAY

Chicago @ Green Bay

Tease Chicago and the Under. These teams play each other tough as is, so with the Bears having extra rest, Chicago should have a chance to cover here in a tight game that shouldn&rsquo;t see more than 50 points under any circumstance.

FEATURED LIVE PLAY

Carolina @ Minnesota and Titans @ Colts

Carolina and Titans should have a chance to win these games, therefore leading out or finding value on both in game is a good starting point. Seeing if can get a better price on Vikings and Colts in game, should lead to a middling opportunity on both. I think Vikings are more likely of the two games to get a blow-out win, but I can see both underdogs pulling the upsets too.

GAME OF THE WEEK

Raiders @ Falcons

Neither of these teams have great defenses, and so Atlanta should rebound offensively and Raiders should score at will. I lean a Falcons cover at better than +3, preferably 6 or 7, and if Raiders go down, I think they are definitely capable of a comeback to cut it close, if not outright win. Even Jon Gruden admitted he is clueless as to how this Falcons team is 3-7, saying it is the best 3-7 team he has ever seen.

<h1>Week 10 Recap</h1>

Week 8 was the Blitz Report&rsquo;s second to worst week, and it seems to have just gotten out of whack. No excuses though, let&rsquo;s see where we went wrong.

There were 2 Game of the Weeks for the first time this season, and though I could have graded the Rams/Seahawks a slight push, I think it&rsquo;s a loss due to the game script being wrong. As far as the Bears/Vikings, half of it, the low scoring part and it being a close game with great opportunity to get Vikings, did play out, but Bears was the wrong side, so it is a push.

Spreads went a putrid 1-3, but picking the Bucs game right, put me at 10-0 on the season picking their games. Can the trend continue?

Totals got 0 right AGAIN, for the 3rd week in a row. We are going to correct that this week. That is insane. Saints Over and Lions Under never made sense because the former has a good defense and the latter has a bad one. Flip the games, and we go 2-0.

Live Bet was a home run! Bills and Cardinals you would have mopped up on if just took both sides through ought the game. And with the line finishing at Card by 2, all kinds of sides should have hit and for the over.

Exotics, the tease of Eagles was a bad play from the start, as Giants was always the sharper side. Teasing Chargers saved us, where as, teasing Steelers never mattered.

Rams @ Bucs

2 weeks agon Saints were featured to cover against the Bucs, and boy did they ever. Let&rsquo;s run it back as they say, except this time a much worse off team in the Rams comes to town. Rams are not as good as everyone things, and I still think the market is a week off on predicting the Bucs up and down season. Bucs know they&rsquo;ve struggled in late games and are preparing for this one with that in mind, and maybe the biggest key to this game of them all is Jared Goff is going to be under pressure. Goff under pressure, as we just saw three weeks ago, can be some of the worst quarterback play you will ever see &ndash; It&rsquo;s that bad. Nathan Peterman bad. Remember the Super Bowl vs Tom Brady&rsquo;s Patriots? It didn&rsquo;t matter Tom struggled in that one, because the worst quarterback under pressure of all-time is Jared Goff, hyperbolically speaking of course. This is just a bad spot for Rams across the board, and a get right late night spot for Bucs. I bet it at -3, but I think this number should have opened at -6.

<h1>Featured Total Play</h1>

Dolphins @ Broncos

This line should be 38, yet it&rsquo;s hanging around 45. I think both these teams play this game close to the vest, slow pace, running the ball and limiting mistakes. Limited mistakes turns into less short-fields and easy quick scores, which in turn lowers the end game total. I think Phins could pull this one out again, but I lean Broncos to cover and put this game around a 17-20 type affair.

<h1>Featured Exotic Play</h1>

Chiefs @ Raiders

Raiders defense is just not good enough to beat a healthy Chiefs team twice in a month. The Chiefs know this is probably their biggest game to sure up a potential 1 seed if comes down to them and Steelers, and so a maximum revenge effort is in order. And even if Chiefs got down 17-0, I would bet them on the comeback without batting an eye. &nbsp;

<h1>Featured Live Play</h1>

Dallas @ Minnesota

This is a wait and see how these teams play. Minnesota is methodical, so they shouldn&rsquo;t run away with this game early. If Cowboys are moving the ball and the defense is not getting gashed on the ground, I think Cowboys can cover 4-7 points and maybe even pull the upset. Without those two variables, I would lean off them and this game.

<h1>Off Play</h1>

Pitt @ Jacksonville

Last week Jags were also an off game, and because they play a stout Steeler front, and a Pitt team who may not even be motivated in this spot, nothing about this game is attractive.

<h1>Game of the Week</h1>

Green Bay @ Indianapolis

Though I don&rsquo;t see this being a hugely scoring game, I think with Colts, and getting Green Bay live, and looking for a total drop in the first half to get the over provides a lot of good stacking opportunities in this game. Colts should win, as they match up well vs the Packers, my main hesitancy is their next game is against the Titans, so this could be a look ahead spot too.

<h1>WEEK 9 RECAP</h1>

Week 9 was the perfect rebound from the first losing week of the season in week 8. Altogether, the Blitz Report went 7-4 and the all-important Game of the Week cashed all sides! That brings Game of the Week to +2 on the season. Game of the Week is actually what some might call a max unit play meets a diversification over the same game, based on that projected game-script. If you were betting the Game of the Week at your max bet level of 5Units let&rsquo;s say, you should be up around 10 units just on Game of the Week, give or take any partial plays lost on the pushes. So, thank you Teddy Bridgewater and Patrick Mahomes.

Spreads were up again in week 9, going 3-1 with the lone loser being the side that cost me personally thousands of dollars, being the last leg of some long-shot parlays, the Seattle Seahawks, wah wah. And worse yet, on the Sports Trading Desk Podcast you can even hear me talking about how horrible of a spot it was for Seattle, never mind the fact that their defense has been the worst in the NFL. Oh, well. We picked up Ravens, Giants and Saints, all seemingly with ease, as none of those lines were accurate all week.

Totals went 0-2, losing all Totals for the second week in a row, admittedly not a good look, as on the wrong sides of the Titan&rsquo;s and Cardinal&rsquo;s games.

Live Play, another option to stack +units (percent) if there is enough volatility, cashed with playing the down team on a comeback, which both teams were at one point, so plenty of good lines and opportunities to middle too on Raiders vs Chargers.

Exotics went 2-1, with the lone loser being the tease of the flat spot Steelers. The tease a big favorite down to only a TD is a clear signal to just take the underdog. Next time!

So, that brings the Blitz Report to 58 correct recommendations, 38 incorrect recommendations and 10 recommendations that got graded out as relative pushes &ndash; generally reserved for live plays or Game of the Week when only half of the suggestion comes to fruition.

<h1>FEATURED SPREAD PLAY</h1>

Broncos @ Raiders

Raiders are coming off two big, close wins and Broncos are getting no respect. I really liked and still like Raiders on the season, as I think this team is viewed and treated like a bottom 10 team, when they are a top 12 team. That said, Broncos getting 4 points against this Raiders defense is a must swallow the pride and take. As bad as the Broncos have played for 6 of the last 8 quarters on both sides of the ball, they have found ways to score at will late in games. Some toss that up to prevent defenses on the other side, but even so, it shows Broncos are capable of scoring. With the Raiders defense being one of the worst in the NFL, I just don&rsquo;t think Raiders win by margin here. It&rsquo;s a tough play, because Raiders should still win, but this line at 4 should be in play late for the Broncos. If this game goes into OT and Raiders win by 6. I will Venmo you $10 for following this play &ndash; just hit me up in Discord!

<h1>FEATURED TOTAL PLAY</h1>

49ers @ Saints

Over! I know, it feels wrong, but it&rsquo;s so right. 49ers are still down like 8 starters on defense and now their starting safeties. Saints are healthy all-around, so I expect 30+ points from them, and just the game script alone should have the 49ers flirting with at least 20 by game&rsquo;s end. Mullens is also turnover prone, so if Saints close in on 40 points, this game should be an easy cover to the Over 49.

<h1>FEATURED EXOTIC PLAY</h1>

Chargers @ Colts

Van Noy is out for the Dolphins, a captain of that defense, and I&rsquo;m still not sure Tua is ready to be anointed. Chargers are capable at times on defense, and don&rsquo;t lose by margin, so if I can get Chargers +7-8 points, it&rsquo;s a no brainer in this spot. Yes, Chargers are going across country off another late loss that they probably should have pulled out, but Dolphins are peaking. If Dolphins handle business here, we are crossing the line into must fade mode the next game or two. Fair warning!

<h1>FEATURED LIVE PLAY</h1>

Bills @ Cardinals

This game is projected to have both teams over 27 points. So? We are going to get scoring in big plays and often. I lean Bills here, as I think this line should be flipped. Both teams are generally overrated, but Cardinals being -6 vs Dolphins by game time last week and -2 this week, something is off. This team is not better than the Dolphins and they sure as heck are not better than the Bills. And based on how the Bills were able to get turnovers on a similar QB in Russel Wilson, I think Bills defense can do just enough here to be the right side pre-game and look to build a position in game if go down.

<h1>OFF PLAY</h1>

Jags @ Packers

Can&rsquo;t play Jaguars here, as just too cute on the road, in the cold, vs Rodgers. And not sure can lay almost 2 TDs in a game with what&rsquo;s supposed to be very bad weather. I prefer to just lay off, unless Jaguars have a miraculous early lead and then I might blindly take Packers, if Rodgers is healthy.

<h1>GAME OF THE WEEK</h1>

2 Game of the Weeks for the first time this season!!

First up -- Seahawks @ Rams

These division rivals always play one another tough. I&rsquo;d look for Rams to lead out and start hot with having the extra time to prepare, then get Seattle on a furious comeback that leaves this game hanging in the balance between who has the ball last. This total should dip during the first quarter too based on game-flow and how Rams play, so if goes below 51 (27-24) grab the over. If it dips significantly again, below 45 (24-21) grab the over. This is going to be a fun one come the 4th quarter!

Monday Night Special &ndash; Viking @ Bears

Move over Matt Nagy, your play-calling days are done! Hello Bill Lazor. This game is going to be low scoring no matter who calls the plays, as Bears give up right about 17-20 points a game and Vikings are the most run-dependent team in the NFL. Prime time Cousins vs. a good defense on the road also doesn&rsquo;t bode well. But, what I think is the biggest advantage here is Vikings have not seen the new play-caller call plays, so like playing a new poker player, even if they suck, because they are unpredictable, the newb actually has a net advantage at times over even demonstrably better competition! It&rsquo;s what some call &ldquo;beginner&rsquo;s luck,&rdquo; but what it actually is is edge &ndash; can&rsquo;t anticipate what is unpredictable. So Bears ML, Bears Spread, Under, Tease Both, Parlay Both, and Tease Both the other way. If Bears stifle Dalvin Cook, this game is in the bag for the Bears. If they can&rsquo;t &ndash; get out of this position quickly.

<h1>Week 8 Recap</h1>

Week 8 was the Blitz Report&rsquo;s worst week, and it seems to have aligned with traveling across the world during the middle of the week. No excuses though, let&rsquo;s see where we went wrong &ndash;

There was no Game of the Week because the entire slate seemed very unappealing and there was low conviction of game scripts across the board. Still 51-34-10 on the Season

Spreads did well going 2-1, with the lone loss being the Jared Goff poop party down in Miami. Goff under pressure is Nathan Peterman bad, and so the Tua fade never came to fruition even though he had a QBR of 25. Patriots and especially Seattle were easy covers in the end, as expected.

Totals is where got hammered at going 0-3, as had three Unders on the wrong three games. The Bears/Broncos/Ravens games all went over by a seeming mile, and so just not a good week diagnosing those game flows.

Live Bet was a push, as suggested taking both teams if down, which would have gotten an okay price on Raiders first, then Browns based on game script, and so would have basically got nowhere.

Exotics went 1-2 with the Packers and Titans teases being dead in the water by half time. Bad spots against bad teams trending up is never a good idea to lay TD worth of points. The lone winner was the Colts, who easily finished off Detroit down the stretch of the 2nd half.

We also had 2 Off Games last week, so with no Game of the Week, it should have been obvious this was an EXTREMELY low conviction week for the Blitz Report, and frankly, the results showed that.

<h1>Featured Spread Play</h1>

Saints @ Bucs

This is the first time I am going to point this out on the Blitz Report, but I am 8-0 on picking the right side of Tompa Bay games this year. And so this week, let&rsquo;s see if the trend continues! Saints +4.5, as would buy up to the hook, as looks like Michael Thomas is a go, and with it being a division game, both teams should have success throwing and struggle running it. This should open up bigger plays down the field, create more scoring opportunities, and thus it should be a volatile game that comes down to the last couple drives. This is a hard one, because I do think Bucs pull it out, but I think by a FG is the most probable. I also see a scenario where the getting Antonio Brown acclimated distraction is a net negative on this game.

<h1>Featured Total Play</h1>

Bears @ Titans

Bears and Titans sit right at about 48 points, and I have this score falling somewhere between Bears 20+ points and Titans 27+ points, which at its bottom is 47. One more score and we cap the over. Bears do have O-line issues, but with baffling bad Clowney out anyway and a Titans defense still waiting to get their corners back healthy, Bears should find similar success that the Bengals did last week, or be able to score late if get down big early. 34-27 is my high point if both offenses are clicking early, so might be good spot to consider a live play and look to middle too. That is because the Bears D can get stops, so I don&rsquo; think Titans can get more than 27-35 points here.

<h1>Featured Exotic Play</h1>

Texans @ Jaguars

Texans having the bye to get a fully healthy offense and sure up their glaring issues on defense should provide the keys to this game. These teams just played, and though it was close early, Jaguars just couldn&rsquo;t score with Minshew. Perhaps Luton the rookie from Oregon State can find some success with his weapons, but I think that is mitigated by Texans patching up their Defense. Texans tease, and then even look to tease the under, as I think byes help defenses most, so both teams should be able to get stops before Watson get going late.

<h1>Featured Live Play</h1>

Raiders @ Chargers

Points Points Points. This game simple really. Take the team down 10+ points and then hedge/middle the other way when/if it&rsquo;s close in the end of 2nd or 3rd quarter. I lean with the market and Raiders here because of coaching, but this spot screams Chargers as the right side, so I cannot in confidence give a good recommendation either way, hence why live playing for points/middle is not only the safest route, but could prove to be the most profitable.

<h1>Off Play</h1>

Detroit @ Minnesota

I leaned Minnesota, but can see Detroit back door covering here too if Stafford plays. But because of the lack of line and Stafford maybe not being available, I prefer to lay off this one, at least for now.

<h1>Game of the Week</h1>

Panthers @ Chiefs

I love that this is a flat spot for the Chiefs. It doesn&rsquo;t mean Chiefs won&rsquo;t score, they will at ease vs the Panthers defense, but I just don&rsquo;t see the Chiefs as a team having any reason to even play this game. I think they would be better served on the season not to even play it. They are playing a non-playoff NFC team that likely turns into a shootout. And with CMC back, I love Panthers to be able to move the ball and now punch it in the endzone vs a Chiefs defense coming off playing teams like the Broncos and Jets. Chiefs have also shown a penchant to play down to competition or up this season, where as Panthers have shown they can play strong vs the AFC West. Panthers Spread, The Over, Tease Both, and then tease both the other way. I also can see a Panthers upset here if Chiefs come out too flat and Panthers capitalize. So it could be worth seeing how the Panthers offense fairs in the first quarter to gage if a money line play and hedge the other way might actually be worth it.

<h1>WEEK 7&nbsp;RECAP</h1>

Week 7 was another strong week, finishing 8-3-1 and bringing the season total to 48-28-9 on the Sunday Blitz Report recommendations.

Spreads went 2-2, although had the Browns made the extra point at the end of the game or had you gotten the -3 instead of -3.5, a push or win would have hit. The other loss was the Bills not covering the Jets, a game I began to flip on until hearing Jamison Crowder was out. The Bucs and Panthers were easy covers.

Totals went a perfect 3-0 with the 49ers game and the Cowboys game going under and the Seattle game going over.

Live Play nailed it, as I leaned Steelers and suggested getting the down team on a comeback which the Titans did down 24-7 and only lost by 3. Could have had huge middle opportunities if loved Steelers like I did to start the week, but knew Titans had the weapons and team makeup to mount a valiant comeback and make it a close final score.

Exotics went 2-1, with the lone loss being the tease under for the Chiefs game, and in hindsight that was not a strong +EV play in general. Teasing Green Bay wasn&rsquo;t needed and won with ease, but teasing Jags was exactly right, as just can&rsquo;t trust such a bad team to be up 7 late in the game and not lose by 10 still, which is exactly what happened.

<h1>FEATURED SPREAD PLAY</h1>

Patriots @ Bills

Patriots are +4 vs division rival Bills, a Bills team that is inconsistent, banged up and just not as potent on defense or in the running game as last year. On the flip side, Bill&rsquo;s Patriots are struggling themselves having laid two offensive duds in a row against the Broncos and 49ers. Cam Newton has not looked good, but in a bad weather game like this one is supposed to be, and two teams struggling to just play 4 decent quarters, I think these running QB type defensive minded coaches are going to play keep away power football and Patriots find a way to cover and maybe even pull out the victory outright. I&rsquo;ve never been high on the Bills, and think they peaked at the start of the season since they had the most continuity coming into a shortened off-season in the NFL. <h1>FEATURED TOTAL PLAY</h1>

Saints @ Bears

The under on this game is safest for my taste, in part because both Michael Thomas and Allen Robinson look to be out. Without Allen Robinson, Nick Foles has limited options, especially down field. Bears already can&rsquo;t run the ball, but now going against a Saints defense they will have next to no success running it. Bears defense is good enough to keep Saints at bay, and so a max score of 24-20 seems right, but I think a 23-17 game is likely where this game ends up ceiling wise.

<h1>FEATURED EXOTIC PLAY</h1>

Titans @ Bengals

Teasing Titans to even or -1 looks like the best play of the week. Burrow is going to be missing Mixon once again, but also three offensive linemen, an already weak group for the Bengals. Titans are rebounding from that Steelers game, and this one could turn to a blow out late.

<h1>FEATURED LIVE PLAY</h1>

Raiders @ Browns

This game I am looking for volatility as both defenses lack the ability to stop functioning offenses. I lean Raiders to pull the upset, but would prefer +4.5-7.5 if can get it and would take Browns spread on a hedge/middle opportunity. OBJ being out I do not think is a huge downgrade for this Browns offense with the emergence of some young talent, and both these offensive lines are top 10 in the NFL. Points should be scored in droves, so buying dips to get the over is what I&rsquo;ll be looking for as well.

<h1>OFF PLAY</h1>

2 games Jets @ Chiefs + Dallas @ Eagles

Both these games are big numbers with bad teams and situations. No way am I risking money on Dallas or Jets, both more injured now than to start last week verse the best team in the NFL and a division rival. That said, I could also see both covering or getting blown out. Off on both.

<h1>GAME OF THE WEEK</h1>

For the first time this season, there is no Game of the Week. These games are all full of variables that don&rsquo;t seem to paint clear pictures of game scripts, and in fact, I think this is going to be a low scoring week across the board, thus we may have less volatility to top it off.

On the season, the Blitz Report is holding steady at 40-25-8, with the Game of the Week being net +1 on the season. Week 7 has so far been the hardest to handicap, but because of that, I spent extra time turning every stone &ndash; until COVID turns another one after this article&rsquo;s posting &ndash; I see you Saints&hellip;

<h1>&nbsp;</h1>

<h1>WEEK 6 RECAP</h1>

Week 6 was far and away the best week of the season for me personally, and the Blitz Report did a solid 5-2-3. Apologies on skipping by the 49ers games &ndash; a technical oversight, for if following in discord premium, we had 49ers across the board and in Core &ndash; and it was a top play for me as well.

In unfamiliar territory, I graded out 3 pushes which I want to detail quickly. I posted Eagles money line as an &ldquo;exotic,&rdquo; but because they covered the spread, I figure the value would have been to play Eagles money line at +300+ and split it with the spread as a modest hedge. Typically, I recommend this split in the note, but for some reason I only recommended a long odds dog. To say, that would not grade out as a poor recommendation when the dog covers and came within a two-point conversion of tying at the end of the game &ndash; hence the push. I am grading Lions Live Play a push even though I recommended Lions 1st half which covered and the lions to win/cover because I expected a Jags comeback that would have set up for some nice middling opportunity. The important half of this push was right, but the latter part did not go our way. The last push was the Game of the Week &ndash; Bucs/Packers. As predicted, Bucs was the right side, and could have gotten them at all kinds of good numbers down 10. That said, once Bucs got up big, Packers and the over were dead in the water, so grading this as another push, as shouldn&rsquo;t have lost much if at all on this play.

My favorite spreads of the week Bears and Steelers cashed with ease, losing only the heartbreaking bad beat of Texans +3.5 due to overtime rules and a fortunate turn of events by the Titans against an abhorrent Texans defense.

The two under recommendations are right in line with NFL trends around the league in week 6, but on whiffed on the Bengals under and nailed the Broncos under.

Exotics went 2-0-1 with the two easy winners being a Dolphins and Washington Football team tease, the latter of which could have easily lost by a touchdown.

<h1>FEATURED SPREAD&nbsp;PLAY</h1>

Bucs @ Raiders

I leaned Bucs hard at -3 and even -3.5. Now that it is -4, I am skeptical, but with the COVID issues surrounding Raiders, I think this is a play on Bucs up to -6. Either Bucs bring it and continue momentum from the Packers game, scoring at will, or they lay an egg. I just don&rsquo;t buy this team with Brady will let their guard down after one solid win at home early in the season. Raiders are also likely missing their best defensive player in this game so Bucs is the play of the week for spreads. Bucs should win by double digits if just play a competent game.

<h1>FEATURED TOTAL PLAY</h1>

49ers @ Patriots

Patriots lack offensive gamebreakers and that plays right into a banged-up defenses hands (see Broncos) On the flip side, with no Mostert and Jimmy G going up against former head coach mastermind Bill, hard to see 49ers having their best offensive performance of the season, likely needed, to cover this total. Even with a defensive score and a wealth of turnovers, hard to see this game going over 44 points. At 41-44, I&rsquo;d lean under regardless of the number. 21-20, 24-20, 21-17 are about where this game should land at its ceiling.

<h1>FEATURED EXOTIC PLAY</h1>

Chiefs @ Broncos

Teaser of Chiefs and the Under is what I recommend here. Chiefs should win this by a FG at least and the snow storm that should blanket this game should make points at a premium. Typically, it&rsquo;s best to avoid teasing totals, especially unders (with OT in play) but in this particular game, I can&rsquo;t see this being a 31-20 type game which is what it would have to be to go over the tease. At worst, 27-21 is closest it gets. But leaning a 24-13 type game.

<h1>FEATURED LIVE PLAY</h1>

Pitt @ Tenn

Though I lean Steelers here, I think the best angle for this game is to live bet it. Can lead out whichever side you think gets up early, but then if Steelers are getting passed on, I can see this being a volatile game or Steeler blowout. Titans D is just not good as we have seen all season and Steelers get Dionte Johnson back at wide receiver. Big Ben is still getting his footing and is always capable of that 6 TD game or 5 Int game, but I think the pulse on this Steeler team might be different than year&rsquo;s past, and so looking for Steelers + Spread / + Money and trying to middle/hedge the other way is what I recommend here.

<h1>GAME OF THE WEEK</h1>

Lions @ Falcons

Another Lions Game of the Week! Why? Volatility!! Lions got healthier and better situated off the bye, and Falcons got Julio back last week. I lean lions here, so betting Lions and the Over is the preferred plays. Also teasing both teams with the over looks as good as can be as well. Either team going down by 14+ points I would bet no problem, unless there is catastrophic injuries to Julio/Golloday. I wish both these teams were playing other squads this week, as both I&rsquo;d be backing if so. Since that can&rsquo;t happen here, let&rsquo;s bet on volatility and points. Both these defenses have awful secondaries and both these offenses should get better as season goes along with top 5 talent on both.&nbsp;

<h1>WEEK 5 RECAP</h1>

Week 5&rsquo;s Blitz Report got back on track with a 7-3-1 performance, bringing the Blitz Report to 35-23-5 with this week&rsquo;s push being the Game of the Week, bringing GOW to 2-1-2 on the season. Houston won outright, and even covered, but because the total just missed going over on the tease, calling GOW a push.

Spreads went an impressive 3-1, with the lone dud being the Seahawks at a steep price -- admittedly I overweighted bad-road Cousins in primetime, especially considering how poor Seahawks defense is. Dolphins, Browns and Cardinals were all easy covers and the right sides.

Totals split 1-1, which in hindsight was because took an under with an overvalued Steelers D and a decimated Eagles D. Baltimore was an easy under, especially seeing how un-explosive Ravens offense is this year with less Jackson running.

The lone Live Bet I am calling a win by the skin of my teeth, as the Falcons went up 7-0, which could have gotten Panthers +4 right off the bat. From there, if took Falcons at their halftime bottom could have had a nice middle opportunity or push.

Exotics went 2-1, as calling the Raiders/Chiefs exotic a loss even though one side of it hit. I recommended taking Raiders/Over or Chiefs/Under which is just not smart. The latter was dead on, but in no circumstance is a Chiefs under vs the Raiders defense a good handicap. Shame on me.

<h1>FEATURED SPREAD PLAY</h1>

Bears @ Panthers

The Bears at +3 we posted in premium already, and I think Bears likely win this straight up. Panthers do have an excellent quarterback who is still underrated, but this Panther defense had outperformed expectations thus far, and I expect the longer the season goes the more they get exposed. Matt Nagy has extra time to get Nick Foles ready for this game and to attack Panther&rsquo;s weakness &ndash; their non-existent run defense. Bears are due to put it together on offense for more than a late comeback, and the Bears defense with two rising cornerbacks are quietly one of the best overall units in the NFL. If healthy, I think this Bears defense will end up top 5 by season&rsquo;s end and Carolina&rsquo;s should be bottom 5. For a 4-1 team, albeit sloppy and undeserved, Bears are being undervalued here and Panthers are being given the benefit of the doubt after beating Falcons, Cardinals and Chargers and getting dismantled by the Bucs and run all over by the Raiders.

<h1>FEATURED TOTAL PLAY</h1>

Bengals @ Colts

The under 46.5 is my favorite total play, though it looks like Colts have some COVID cases, so this game mat be postponed. That said, both these offenses are not great, nor explosive, and if Colts put in a decent defensive performance, I cannot see Bengals scoring more than 20, which puts this right in a 27-20 max range. I look for this game to finish 24-16 with more Colts and Bengals defenders back healthy.

<h1>FEATURED EXOTIC PLAY</h1>

Jets @ Dolphins

This is an obvious one, but just can&rsquo;t be confident laying close to 10 points with Dolphins, even versus this lifeless Jets team. So, let&rsquo;s tease this bad boy down to under 3 and ride it out with a much more comfortable number.

<h1>FEATURED LIVE PLAY</h1>

Lions @ Jags

This should be Lions all the way with a comeback by the Jaguars. I could see a Colts/Jags type game too, but I think Lions start hot, cool and Minshew magic makes a run in the 4th quarter with a likely DJ Chark back in the lineup. Betting Lions -3 to money line through this game is my favorite play then looking to get Jags +4.5, 7.5 and anything over 10-13 is the kind of stack I&rsquo;d love to see a middle and Lions win by 4.

<h1>OFF PLAY</h1>

Falcons @ Vikings

I&rsquo;m not comfortable playing either of these teams in this spot. Vikings defense is still very bad, especially at getting pressure and at corner, so if Julio Jones plays, there is no way I can lay 4 points with Vikings. If he is not playing, there is no way I can trust Falcons have any type of competent performance as they mourn the loss of their beloved (albeit bad) head coach and GM. The safest play here is to avoid the game or consider a live angle pending what happens in game. If Julio is playing and Falcons start on the right foot, I like them to cover this number at 4, but may be able to get them at 7 in game too.

<h1>GAME OF THE WEEK</h1>

Packers @ Bucs

Though Lions @ Jags could be my game of the week, this one comes down to two hall of fame QB&rsquo;s who still have something to prove. Brady looks to have all his weapons back and Rodgers has Adams back. If that holds true, betting 1) Bucs 2) Over 3) Tease Both 4) Tease Packers/Over 5) Live Bet either team down +7 or better if can get it, or hedge some exposure. I do think this game is a toss up, but have a slight lean to the Bucs. Bucs are better than their 3-2 record and if/when this team is healthy enough to get Brady in complete rhythm with the offense, this could be a top 5 offense too. The Bucs D does one thing very well, even without their star DT, and that is stifle the run game. Packers are Rodger&rsquo;s team, but the coaching staff prefers leaning on the running game, so that little bit of disjointed connection between the two has me thinking somehow Bucs pull this one out, or Rodgers has a vintage final drive comeback win. Both these secondaries are not very good and can give up big plays down the field, so expect a Chargers vs Bucs game more than Bears vs Bucs if looking for something comparable.

<h1>WEEK 4 RECAP</h1>

Last week the Blitz Report went a middling 6-5-1 and one game was nixed off the slate due to COVID (Patriots v Chiefs).

Exotic once again led the way going 3-1 and I had our first outright losing Game of the Week of the season when the Cardinals put in a miserable effort vs the upstart Panthers. The game still went over on a tease, but considering the other components, I&rsquo;m calling that a clear-cut loss.

Spreads and Totals split, so no ground gained there.

What we&rsquo;ve learned through 4 weeks?

Injuries are crushing teams left and right, putting even more emphasis on QB, coaching and matchups. In fact, teams in my power ratings that were in the top 10 went 9/10 covering early week spreads in week 4, and most of those teams have great QBs and/or very good coaching. The only team that lost, the Patriots, lost to a team ranked higher than them in the power rankings.

Looking forward, something to keep in mind when applying handicaps to teams is to consider what is a constant variable for a team and make sure that is your handicap starting point. So, an easy one at this point is Packers&rsquo; Rodgers and Seahawks&rsquo; Wilson. Both these QBs are constants, in that, handicaps should be built from the ground up with probable variables that are most likely to remain true on a given week &ndash; like Rodgers and Wilson playing at a high, consistent level. What is not helpful is cherry-picking variables that inevitably outweigh a constant variable, like what I did last week with the Jaguars. The Jaguars constant variable is their defense is one of the worst in the NFL and has only a couple playmakers. That constant variable, if not adhered to as a starting point, may not get the proper weight in a handicap when facing a playmaking Bengals offense. Obviously, even constant variables can and will have poor performances, but the point is a constant variable is most likely to rebound or revert back to the mean of it being consistent, versus something less predictable like a Fitzmagic performance, which may or may not happen on any given week.

<h1>FEATURED SPREAD PLAY</h1>

Colts @ Browns

My featured spread play was going to be Arizona over Jets, but it looks like that game has been moved and may be postponed further. Instead, I bring you the Browns. Yes, the Colts have the more consistent, better overall team, but in this spot, the Colts are missing their biggest key on defense &ndash; LB Leonard and their LT on O-line. Those are two big hits, but the Browns only lost Chubb so far, which for a game or two I don&rsquo;t think will be as big of a hit due to Browns RB depth and O-line. I also could see Phillip Rivers giving the ball away a few times, as he nearly did vs the Bears. If Baker plays mostly mistake free, this might be a game that puts Browns over the hype train and Colts under it, which would be excellent, since I don&rsquo;t see either being justifiable. Browns also have been running the ball extremely well, whereas Jonathon Taylor and company have been generally very underwhelming. With still no timing happening between Rivers and TY Hilton, we are going to have to see either a Baker game giveaway or Colts playing outside how they&rsquo;ve looked so far for Colts to win this.

<h1>FEATURED TOTAL PLAY</h1>

Eagles @ Steelers

This one is fairly straight forward for the under, Steelers got rusty on an unexpected bye and Eagles are beyond banged up at this point. Steelers D shuts the run down and gets to the QB, as I can&rsquo;t see Eagles doing anything other than relying on game management and their defense, much like vs the 49ers. The way this goes over is if Steelers are firing on all cylinders on offense with big plays and Eagles are forced to take bigger risks. In that correlated scenario, an Over and Pitt ML tease could work well too.

<h1>FEATURED EXOTIC PLAY</h1>

Giants @ Cowboys

This is a tough one in general, but Cowboys less than a FG seems about right, as it&rsquo;s going to be hard for the Cowboys not to keep scoring in this game, and difficult for Danny Dimes to keep up. Could also correlate with an over, as no way can I do any type of under with Dallas&rsquo; defense in a game.

<h1>FEATURED LIVE PLAY</h1>

Carolina @ Atlanta

Both teams should be able to score 3-4 TD&rsquo;s against the other&rsquo;s defense, and with that kind of points and a desperate for a win team like Atlanta at home, this is prime territory at a pick &lsquo;em to grab a team to play well early and get the inverse if down 2-3 scores. Carolina&rsquo;s defense is still young and inexperienced, so as long as Matt Ryan has at least a healthy Ridley, Falcon&rsquo;s offense should play better here than they did vs the Packers defense.

<h1>GAME OF THE WEEK</h1>

Jags @ Houston

This is another tough week to pick a Game of the Week, but if there is a game that could be a rife with drama, it&rsquo;s this one. BOB is gone, thank god, and might this be the week the reigns come off Watson? I have a hunch it might be. Tier these - 1-Over 2-Texans ML 3-Tease Texans +Over 4-Live play Texans down 5-Live play Jags once they bottom out, preferably +14 or better if Watson is unstoppable. 

JJ Watt and Deshaun Watson took major issue with BOB and some of his recent handlings of this team. As we all know, his trading of Deandre Hopkins was probably the worst trade in NFL history, and that&rsquo;s saying something toward&nbsp;his ability to evaluate talent. Houston has a fresh start to the season in this one, but with Jags extra rest, this lines up to be a volatile, high-scoring affair.

Sitting strong at 22-15-3 and have hit 2 of the Game of the Weeks and pushed on the other one.

<h1>WEEK 3 RECAP</h1>

Unlike a dominant week 1 and 2, week 3 had its share of struggles. The week 3 Blitz Report underperformed, but was bailed out by a strong Game of the Week performance by the Lions covering 1H, the game and a live play on both sides being profitable as well, including if live bet the game and took the appropriate +EV sides of Lions and Cards Spreads/Money Lines. My strongly considered and secondary option for Game of the Week, E.g. Rams @ Bills, also had the volatility to cash a bunch of tickets, especially if live played a money line when Rams were down and hedged appropriately on the comeback. That type middle opportunity would have been +300 net EV if hedged properly&nbsp;if not more.

Spreads went a brutal 1-4, as the Eagles, Saints and Giants were all narrow handicaps, but Texans was a legitimate right side, but should have laid off due to the predictably terrible coaching of Bill O&rsquo;Brien. Despite even Bill, the refs gifted a first down to the Steelers with a terrible PI call on a 4th down late in the game that resulted in a Steelers FG. That play in and of itself blows the a cover, as Steelers went for 2 to push their lead to 7 instead of 6 late. &nbsp;

Totals also underperformed going 1-2 and getting scared off from a Vikings cover and leaning to a slow-potting under instead hurt us.

Live Bets FINALLY got off the snide with Dallas and Seattle having a predictably volatile game-flow that if took the recommended Dallas over 7, you would have cashed.

Exotics went 2-1 with the Rams hitting on their comeback and the Patriots sticking it to the Raiders.

<h1>FEATURED SPREAD&nbsp;PLAY</h1>

Jags @ Bengals

I may have 1 too many spread plays this week, but Jags +3 is my favorite one. Bengals defense is still not very good and cannot stop the run, so James Robinson should have his way. Chark is back and as we all know, the Jags have had the extra time to prepare. Jay Gruden is a better offensive play-caller than what the Bengals put out there and Burrow hype has gotten out of hand for a QB who is 0-2-1 and can&rsquo;t finish in the red zone &ndash; a staple of Zach Taylor coached teams. Bengals are still the worst coached team in the NFL, so getting three points seems much too generous for what I have as a pick em. And just like last week with Jags laying points, not sure Bengals are good enough to lay any points against anyone but the Jets at this point.

<h1>FEATURED TOTAL PLAY</h1>

Giants @ Rams

Over 48 here looks to be the best of the options in this game due to the correlation with how the Giants may or may not play. I lean a Giants cover, but I think it&rsquo;s saver to put them at over 20 points and Rams tipping toward 30 points, so a 20 to 31 type score would miss the spread, but go over the total. If the Giants really struggle, this could be a 13 to 38 type game and if it&rsquo;s competitive 24-27 seems appropriate. To say, no matter the game-flow, this game should be closer to 50 or above.

<h1>FEATURED EXOTIC PLAY</h1>

Colts @ Bears

Tease the Under and Bears and get this under 50 and Bears +9/10. The weather may have 15mph wind and a bit rainy, while Colts have the top defense in the league through 3 games. Bears lost Cohen and Colts lost Cambell, so both teams lack playmakers, have solid defenses and non-mobile QB&rsquo;s. You could even convince me to parlay this / take the under straight up. 

<h1>FEATURED LIVE PLAY</h1>

Browns @ Cowboys

This game looks to be as volatile as they come or a Cowboys blowout, so if want to lead out on a Cowboys Money Line, I won&rsquo;t stop you. Though, because this Cowboys defense is so poor, they may go down early and thus getting them on another comeback might be the best play. If Hunt and Beckham do play, I don&rsquo;t see Browns struggling on offense, and so if can get Browns over +7 and over 10, then definitely consider that too. Total is also likely over 50, so if there is a slow start to this game, consider getting over 48-51. 

<h1>GAME OF THE WEEK</h1>

Cardinals @ Panthers

Week 1 saw us cash the Game of the Week going with Raiders at Panthers and saw last week the Lions cash our Game of the Week at the Cardinals. So, when feeling good about two teams playing each other, let&rsquo;s run it back, as they say. I lean Cards to win this straight up, and would prefer buying down to 2.5 or 2, and then parlay with the over, tease with the over, tease with Panthers and the Over and look for live in game plays on Panthers down, as Cardinals have cluster injuries to their safeties. Robbie Anderson and/or CJ Moore should have big days too. Cardinals also have the 2nd fastest pace of any team in the NFL, which should put points on the board with two teams who are bottom 10 in defense.

<h1>WEEK 1 RECAP</h1>

Last week I posted the Blitz Report a week before Sunday to get a jump on the market, and even doing so, still had the recommendations perform almost on point across the board.

Spreads and Totals dominated the Blitz Report, as they went a combined 5-0-1, the push being the Chargers recommendation. Though the cheat sheet said -3.5, the line got pushed to -3 right after this article&rsquo;s release and hung there all week and even hit -2.5 before game time. A sloppy game that neither side was worth playing, but you could have won/pushed more likely than lost.

Live Bet recommendations did not go according to the suggested game script, as Seattle and New Orleans both pulled away. That said, had you jumped on Saints when went down 7-0, that might have been in line with the handicap, but I still count the overall suggested game script a loss. Exotics were hit or miss going 2-2, and the big crusher was the Colts tease down. As it got closer to game-time, <a href="https://twitter.com/BetKarmaZach/status/1305258766561050625" style="color:#0563c1; text-decoration:underline">I even posted on twitter a bold prediction that Minshew would back-door cover this game</a>, as it seemed the entire betting market forgot he existed, me included (until Sunday morning) and thus his ability within Jay Gruden&rsquo;s offense was never handicapped properly. I whiffed on the Cowboys/Rams Over, as did most handicappers, as neither team could finish drives in the endzone, but di hit the tease under on Philly/Wash and the tease over on Ravens/Browns.

The game that provided the most upside to cash all bets within the same game, was my GAME OF THE WEEK. Raiders and Panthers played almost too perfectly to my expectations, and because of the game&rsquo;s predicted volatility, there was room to risk several plays that were more or less hedged against themselves. So, if Raiders lost by 3, still would have cashed your teaser for instance. Every facet of this game hit, and had you gone even further and bet the Over alt-line at +220+ that also would have hit. Spread, Total, Parlay, Teaser and the Live Bet the other way all cashed.

A note on Game of the Week &ndash; not to be confused with LOCK of the week, as I do not prescribe to guarantees. The Game of the Week is the game that if the game script goes according to plan the betting opportunities within that game provide exponential opportunity to cash multiple variations of somewhat correlated plays. This is not a recommendation to overextend bankroll into this game, it is a recommendation toward considering bets that can stack if the game script goes according to its projection.

<h1>FEATURED SPREAD PLAY</h1>

Chiefs @ Chargers

Last week&rsquo;s featured spread play Cardinals @ 49ers hit with ease. Even the bonus recommendation of Cardinals straight up ended up cashing. This week, I&rsquo;m going for the squarest of them all &ndash; Chiefs. Chiefs under 9 is a must play for me, especially when Andy Reid has EXTRA time to get his team ready. Especially in a year where there was no pre-season. Remember, even the good teams are working to get themselves in rhythm and in tune with their schemes. I don&rsquo;t see any type of let-down spot, and in fact, I wouldn&rsquo;t be shocked if this ends up being the best Chiefs game of the season. Bold, I know. Chargers are also banged up on offensive line and Tyrod Taylor is just not much more than a back-up QB. If Chiefs come ready to play, this could prove to be a disaster of a game for the Chargers, forcing the coaches to wonder if it&rsquo;s time to move on from Taylor and put in the rookie.

<h1>FEATURED TOTAL PLAY</h1>

49ers @ Jets

Last week&rsquo;s featured play hit the over in the Jets @ Bills game, so let&rsquo;s run it back with an under for the Jets this time. I liked this play when the line was at 42.5, and before I knew Kittle was out. Traveling from the west coast, and so starting a game effectively at 9am, the 49ers are either going to be sluggish out of the gate or reliant upon 5th string wide receivers. Either way, Jets lost the potential, albeit rare, explosiveness of Leveon Bell and are looking to be out Jamison Crowder, Sam Darnold&rsquo;s FAVORITE wide receiver come game time. With such injuries on both offenses, the game script may very well be a run-centric, get the 2nd stringers comfortable, don&rsquo;t make mistakes and come out with 20 points type game. A tease feels a tad safer, but I have a hard time seeing this game getting more points than 21 to 20 type final. Which actually points to a correlated parlay/tease option here too. If the total is not to your liking, play Jets / Under in a parlay or tease. I have a hard time seeing the 49ers strength, running, dominating the Jets lone strength, rush defense.

<h1>FEATURED EXOTIC PLAY</h1>

Panthers @ Bucs + &nbsp;Broncos @ Steelers

Though they did not even punt, the Colts last week failed us big time in this spot. No worries. This week, the Bucs welcome the defenseless Panthers and the Steelers bring in the late night banged up Broncos. Yes, Godwin is out and Mike Evans is battling a hamstring still, but the Bucs have enough weapons to blow past the Panthers, and have the defense to shut down CMC. The Bucs stymied the Saints run game and I don&rsquo;t doubt that continues here. They are also due to get much more pressure on Bridgewater than the Raiders could muster. Teasing Bucs with Steelers, another home team with a dominant defense seems the safest play of the week, as Sutton looks to be out again for the Broncos and Drew Lock struggles with accuracy down the field. Neither of these underdogs looks to have much of a shot to beat what I think are the two best run defenses in the league.

<h1>FEATURED LIVE PLAY</h1>

Rams @ Eagles

Last week, I whiffed somewhat on the Atlanta @ Seattle game because the game plan focused on Russ dominating from the very start, and he did just that. Falcons DC Raheem Morris even admitted he was caught off guard and unprepared for a pass heavy, Russ-centric Seattle offense. This week, I wanted to point to a game that started as my Game of the Week, but has since turned to just a Live Play. I think the best bet in this game is leading out on Eagles, or waiting to get them down, then hedge the spread on Rams and look to middle. Rams +7.5 would be fantastic, but I&rsquo;d settle for +4.5 if Rams are able to move the ball in a clean pocket for Jared Goff. Be warned. I think the only blowout possible, besides if injuries take over the game for the Eagles, is an Eagles blow out of the Rams. This game is likely competitive and the team with the ball lost wins. 24-27 is my ceiling, while 17-16 is my floor.

<h1>OFF PLAY</h1>

No Off Play

Still too early in the season, thus too many market discrepancies to avoid any Sunday slate games.

<h1>GAME OF THE WEEK</h1>

Vikings @ Colts

Last week the Game of the Week hit a monster play, read for yourself: &ldquo;I&rsquo;d be comfortable leading out on Raiders spread, the total over, teasing both, parlaying both and live betting the other way. E.g. spreading out a max play over all the above. This game could finish in the 3-4 TD&rsquo;s for each team range.&rdquo; Need we say more? Well, yes, because if your MAX Play was 5% of a bankroll, and you followed this Game of the Week&rsquo;s advice, you&rsquo;d have profited 6-7% just from this one game, while only ever having the realized risk of 4% - MAX. And that 4% risk had potential hedges built into it through a teaser and total bet. To say, the risk of losing the max 4% of your exposure was tied to rare variables such as catastrophic injuries or weather &ndash; or just this handicapper being DEAD wrong about what was the most likely game script. Mitigating Risk and Maximizing Returns is the name of the Game of the Week.

This week&rsquo;s Game of the Week I struggled between the aforementioned Rams/Eagles and this game &ndash; Vikings @ Colts. And realizing now, I have even more confidence because like last week&rsquo;s game, this one features an AFC team vs an NFC team. Why does that matter? These teams don&rsquo;t have any track record with one another. And with two defenses that clearly struggled at times, it means we should be in for a volatile affair much like the Raiders vs Panthers. When the dust settles, I think a strange event will occur and the team that should of lost will win, and I&rsquo;m leaning that being the Colts. I recommend another max play spread out over Colts ML, Vikings live +4.5 or better (prefer +6) Tease of Colts +4 / O 42, Tease of Vikings +9 / O 42, And consider both sides if either one goes down more than 6-7 points in the spread. I also don&rsquo;t see this game going into the 30&rsquo;s, so would consider a middle option of Under 57 live if the game started off with a boom. Both teams are are just looking for a win here, so expect conservative play calling down the stretch.

Zach&rsquo;s weekly NFL Sunday Blitz Report is &ndash; The GAME within the GAME &ndash; or your weekly guide to help you decide what to target within each NFL Sunday game. Whether it is a spread, money line, total, teaser, parlay or live trading a game, this article and the BLITZ CHEAT SHEET is here to help you decide where to put your focus, energy and most importantly &ndash; MONEY! <h1>FEATURED SPREAD PLAY</h1>

Cardinals @ 49ers

The Cardinals played the 49ers well last year both times and only lost one game by double digits due to a meaningless fumble return for a TD. Take that away and Cards lose to the 49ers by a combined 7 points in 2 games. That&rsquo;s not all. Cards upgraded on both sides of the ball and have a promising young coach against a team that is due for regression in every facet of their game. The 49ers caught the league off guard last year and with a banged-up receiver core to start the season, and a healthy Patrick Peterson, Cardinals defense should hold up in spurts. With Kyler Murray&rsquo;s running ability and a new weapon in Deandre Hopkins, the Cardinals can get down 17 points and still find a way to cover this 7-point spread. AND, best of all, Cardinals are looking to be the fastest paced team in NFL history (2019 they were 3rd fastest in 1st half), which means more plays and, due to no pre-season, a gassed defense chasing Kyler Murray around in the second half.

Bonus consideration: Cardinals Money Line. I may be too high on Cardinals to start the season, but I&rsquo;m not against tossing some at Cardinals Money Line in this competitive division series, as they had more than a 2 TD lead against the 49ers in one of their games last year.

<h1>FEATURED TOTAL PLAY</h1>

Jets @ Bills

Though I&rsquo;m unlikely to play it, the over in the lowest total of the slate. Last year during week 1 these teams finished the game 17-16, and the Jets defense is worse this year, while the Bills offense is better with Diggs and Moss in the backfield. Just that in and of itself gives confidence these teams can add even 1 more TD to be right on the total of 39+.

<h1>FEATURED EXOTIC PLAY</h1>

Colts @ Jaguars

The Exotic play worth considering is Colts. At 7.5, the line seems a tad high to bet in a division game while Colts break-in Phillip Rivers. I don&rsquo;t doubt Colts win straight up, so teasing this line with some other options, whether in 2 legs, 3 legs or risking a 4 leg, I&rsquo;d look to have Colts teased spread as a part of most of them.

<h1>FEATURED LIVE PLAY</h1>

Seattle @ Atlanta

The game most worth firing up the app and live betting is Seattle at Atlanta. These two teams went up and down the field against one another last year, and even Matt Schaub at QB tossed over 400 yards. I think both teams are better than last year, healthier and so this game should end competitively. If get the chance to get live action, I&rsquo;d take Seattle at +4 or better and look to grab Atlanta at +7.5 or better. Obviously, any key injuries, like to Russel Wilson during the game, changes this handicap.

Bonus consideration: Look to play the total on the over live and look for a middle. This game should be about 27-21 at the bottom, so if the line dips to below 48 because of a slow 1st quarter, consider playing. From there, look to middle under 59.5. 30-27 looks like a plausible score in this one.

<h1>OFF PLAY</h1>

Dolphins @ Patriots

This WAS going to be my Off game of the week, but getting Patriots under a TD favorite at &ldquo;Home,&rdquo; is just too valuable to pass up. I don&rsquo;t see Dolphins being a mere 3-point difference to the Patriots on a neutral field, and could see Patriots winning easily by double digits. Regardless, I have Pats as my 12th ranked team and Dolphins as 28th, and with all the off-season chatter around Patriots&rsquo; dynasty being over (because they lost Brady, Hightower and a few others), I think the market is overly and unfairly bearish on this Pats team. Remember, Cam Newton is better than Brissett, Jimmy G. and Matt Cassel, all of whom flourished under Bill&rsquo;s reign. If this was 43-year old Brady at QB, this line is at least through the 7 and likely headed to 9.5.

<h1>GAME OF THE WEEK</h1>

Raiders @ Panthers

Opportunities abound in this game. Panthers are replacing 6 starters on defense, have a whole new coaching staff, but upgrade at QB and now have an offense with a Sean Payton disciple calling the plays &ndash; the passing coordinator of LSU&rsquo;s Burrow squad last year.

Raiders defense should be improved this season, but without a pre-season, upgrades on both offenses, Raiders with same offensive line as last year, both these teams should put up points. AND because Panthers defense looks to be the worst in the NFL this year, Raiders should cover in a volatile high-scoring week 1 game.

Excuse the qualifiers, I work with probable terms, not absolutes. That said, I&rsquo;d be comfortable leading out on Raiders spread, the total over, teasing both, parlaying both and live betting the other way. E.g. spreading out a max play over all the above. This game could finish in the 3-4 TD&rsquo;s for each team range, which puts my final score at about 31-24. So, if decide to bet live as well, and Panthers look to be able to move the ball by the 2nd quarter, look to get them at +10.5 for a middle and consider a Total hedge Under 55-59, though in this one, I&rsquo;d let it ride. For any Player Props, will have to check in on the Bet Karma Discord slack Sunday morning.

NFL SUNDAY BLITZ REPORT - WEEK 1

<h2>The Super Bowl for Sports Bettors: 2020</h2>

Last year we featured THE&nbsp;article on how to win the SUPER BOWL of Sports Bettors &ndash; the SuperContest. This year we are doubling down and spreading the love! Move over Mr. Monopoly, we&rsquo;re in a whole new world of pandemics, bleached veins and murder hornets &ndash; so anything is on the table for 2020. The <a href="https://www.westgateresorts.com/hotels/nevada/las-vegas/westgate-las-vegas-resort-casino/casino/supercontest/" style="color:blue; text-decoration:underline">SuperContest</a> has even implemented quarterly prizes, just like <a href="https://www.circasports.com/circa-sports-million" style="color:blue; text-decoration:underline">Circa Millionaire</a> had for their rookie year in 2019. Nothing like some quality competition to heat things up!

<h2>SUPER CONTEST MONEY</h2>

Besides the newly minted guaranteed $135,000 quarterly prize, the SuperContest will be doling out money to the top 100 finishers once again, with the winning percentage based on the number of $1,500 entries. This is a strategic benefit from year&rsquo;s past on one hand because entries into the contest are going to be way down from last year&rsquo;s 3,000+ and so there should be a greater chance to make it into the money and place high.

<h2>CIRCA MILLIONAIRE MONEY</h2>

Circa Millionaire is even MORE appealing to any serious NFL bettor this year because they have 3 million, yes, 3 MILLION DOLLARS guaranteed over the course of the year. First place is locked in at 1 million, and the quarterly prizes for 1st-4th are also guaranteed. Why is this such a big deal? The less entries the more money on the table to win! If Circa Millionaire does not fill up to cover the cost of their guarantee, the winners are all getting free money from the sportsbook. Now, the better question is WHY am I telling YOU this? I&rsquo;m a giving person, what can I say. Besides, based on previous results, we were on the cusp of Circa Millionaire&rsquo;s 1st ever quarterly prize of $150,000 and were a half game from the money (top 100) the year before in the SuperContest. To say, we are ultimately playing against ourselves, and if we can hit over our goal of 65%, we are very likely to cash and be right there in position to win it all.

<h2>QUICK HISTORY</h2>

In 2018&rsquo;s SuperContest, we, Golconda Fund came in 101st place, finishing with a 61.9% winning percentage. Half a game out of the money &ndash; OUCH!

In 2019, we started the year hot! In Circa Millionaire, Golconda Fund-1 was in 4th place heading into week 4&rsquo;s quarterly prize and had we gone 5-0, which we sadly did not, we would have won Circa Millionaire&rsquo;s 1st ever 1st place quarterly prize and netted a cool $150,000.

How did 2019 end up? The good news is we did not finish below 50% in either competition. The bad news is we finished at exactly 50% in both competitions. That&rsquo;s why we are going again in 2020, redemption, and sharing what we learned with you here now.

<h2>How to Turn a Profit in the SuperContest and Circa Millionaire</h2>

Brett and I evolved our sports betting tactics to mirror financial investment strategies over the last eight years. In 2018, we put our market strategy to the ultimate test and in 2019 we expanded into the Circa Millionaire. This year, we intend to push the envelope even further.

Why we see value in entering these contests is because, for example, if we entered the SuperContest each year over the next 20 years, we would be investing $30,000 over that time, or $1500 a year. All we need to do is to finish in 10th place once in 20 years to turn a 300% profit, or turn 30K into about 90K. And that&#39;s our targeted floor. Remember, we were 1 week from 150K last year and half a game from thousands in 2018. So, there&rsquo;s hope coupled with what we presume to be a humble amount of skill. What is the ceiling? Last year&#39;s winner raked in 1.4+ million off a $1500 investment in the SuperContest and a million in Circa Millionaire. <a href="https://www.westgateresorts.com/hotels/nevada/las-vegas/westgate-las-vegas-resort-casino/supercontest-payouts/" style="color:blue; text-decoration:underline">Needless to say, there is hefty upside, 93,000% of it</a>.

<h2>Why should you consider entering the Super Contest or Circa Millionaire?</h2>

I&#39;ll be completely honest &ndash; I don&#39;t think most should enter if they cannot hit 65% in a given year or don&#39;t have the liquidity in their bank-roll. At least that is what I said last year. To be honest, if there is any year to consider entering either, it is in 2020. The influx of variables in the NFL make this season unlike any we have ever seen, and so there is opportunity everywhere.

<h1>HOW TO WIN IT ALL?</h1>

<h2>1 - Weigh Both Sides Equally</h2>

Seems rudimentary and like common sense. It&#39;s not always, not when reviewing a 16-game slate and maybe betting other sports too. If you love the Patriots to cover from the outset, have you actually considered the Bills? If you are salivating to take the Saints, have you pondered the Bucs? A common mistake by even professional bettors, something we notice in many of their podcasts and content channels, is we don&#39;t always walk a mile in the less palatable team&#39;s shoes - something world champion debaters would never go without. They consider both sides of an argument, which either strengthens their original thesis or&nbsp;takes them off it. If you think it is a slam dunk from the outset, SO DOES THE PUBLIC MARKET. You aren&#39;t gaining ground if everyone is thinking the same obvious thing.

<h2>2 - No Edge, No Play</h2>

If you are guessing, don&#39;t pick that game. Have an edge that aligns with your strategy, or at worst aligns against the public&rsquo;s obvious strategy. Another way to put it is finding the value, the market discrepancy, or know something ESPN or Wager Talk are not discussing in their analysis, or whatever you use for your intel.&nbsp;

<h2>3 - Seek Alpha</h2>

One thing few bettors will talk about in regards to the SuperContest style contest is seeking <a href="https://www.investopedia.com/terms/a/alpha.asp" style="color:blue; text-decoration:underline">alpha</a>. What is that? It&#39;s gains against the relative market, or in this case the field. The field is made up of the best sports handicappers out there. Know what they are going to do, because even they become predictable. Many of these sports handicappers tend to rely on their ideal 55-60% betting success models, but that&#39;s not going to win the SuperContest. Why? You need to aim for 70% if you want to win it all.

<h2>4 - Fundamentally No Team is as Good or as Bad as You Think</h2>

Most of the time no team is as bad or as good as you think it is. This seems like a layman&#39;s conclusion, but sometimes simplicity highlights the most profound truths. Take the Miami Dolphins in 2019. They were historically bad the first few weeks, destined to be the worst team in NFL history &ndash; then they turned a corner with a veteran QB and won a few games, covering 2/1 the rest of the season. To say, even when an atrocious team is down on their luck, they are still full of professional athletes and coaches. They are still desperate, to at worst, play for their next contract and pay check.&nbsp; Never get too high or low on a team. Let the market do that. That&#39;s when you strike.

<h2>5 - The Line is Based on Market Sentiment Not Predicting Final Scores</h2>

Remember, the line is tied to market sentiment, not the final score of a game. This number matters secondarily to the fundamental match up, which team has the edge and how this game may unfold. This is counter to some common beliefs in sports betting circles where line moves are the be all end all. That is a smart approach for sports betting, but not the SuperContest.

<h2>6 - Get Over the &quot;Butt Hurt,&quot; and Fast</h2>

You will pick a game, regret it, and it will go down faster than the Titanic. Get over it. Especially before teams might teeter and give up on a week or season, just move on and fast!&nbsp;You know who else is &quot;butt hurt&quot; after a surprising beat down? The team that got destroyed, the players, the fans, the coaches. Generally, the team is pissed, focused and ready to get back to proving themselves on the football field. The opposite tends to be true for those who are peaking. It doesn&#39;t mean either will cover their next week&#39;s line, but don&#39;t fade a team just because you were wrong the week before. You may have just been a week early.

<h2>7 - Know What You Don&#39;t Know.</h2>

This may seem more philosophical than pragmatic, but wisdom is knowing what you don&#39;t know. In 2018 for instance, we knew we were not finding any value and had nowhere to go other than to start guessing for two weeks. One of those weeks was the same week Vegas had one of its <a href="https://abcnews.go.com/Sports/sportsbooks-nationwide-lose-big-week-9s-sunday-slate/story?id=58968718" style="color:blue; text-decoration:underline">worst NFL Sundays on record</a>, meaning the squares mopped up and the books got baked. Those two weeks, we should have considered alternate methods. This is dangerous if not done with caution. We have to know what we do not know. We had to be willing to toss out our weekly strategy for these two weeks and try something else. I would not do this for betting games, but for one-off contests where we need to finish 70% to win, it is something to consider.

<h2>8 - Win the Week</h2>

You know what you need to hit 70% and be right there to win the SuperContest or Circa Millionaire? 3.5 wins a week. Or just pick 3 of 5 then 4 of 5 right back and forth through the season. Throw in a 2 of 5 and a 5 of 5 and you will be just fine too. A strategy few will talk about, because most have no idea...is just win every week. Get over .500. Hit 3 games and look to pick up 4 or 5. If you apply blind betting metrics over the course of the season, you will not win this contest. You have to approach each week as its own week, and you want to win at least 3-4 games.&nbsp;
